FIE exhibition 2015 –Introducing new fully traceable dairy ingredients by Valio

Valio is introducing its new entirely soluble lactose free milk powders at the FIE exhibition along with other powdered dairy ingredients and the finest quality cheeses and butter, all made from some of the cleanest milk in the EU.

Rapid growth in the lactose free business

Valio was the first in the world to launch totally lactose free dairy products in 2001, and is the market leader in Europe. Lactose free business is growing rapidly globally and Valio makes lactose free products available to the food industry worldwide by licensing Valio Eila® lactose free technology and supplying Valio Eila® lactose free ingredients for customers to use in their own manufacturing processes. Latest additions to Valio’s growing lactose free product range are the fully soluble Valio Eila® lactose free instant milk powders.

Pure Finnish milk from Valio’s dairy farms is converted into ingredients for food manufacturers globally to produce a huge variety of products for diverse markets.

Valio Demi™ demineralised whey powders are manufactured from Valio’s own fresh whey – with over 90% of Valio’s whey dry solids being processed for human consumption. Using Valio Demi™ in infant formula and baby food creates a whey/casein protein ratio similar to that of human breast milk. As well as providing whey protein, with its highly valued amino acid profile, Valio Demi™ in infant formula and baby food gives babies the lactose and minerals they require for healthy development.
