Ingredients

For Rub:

For Kabobs:

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Orange Bell Pepper
  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Pineapple
  • 2 Large Chicken Breasts
  • 1 lb Strip Steak
  • Wooden or Metal Skewers
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat. Preheat saucepan to medium heat. If using wooden skewers, soak in water for at least 30 minutes prior to grilling.

For the Rub:

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat up rum, butter, and brown sugar. Let cooking until settled.

For the Kabobs:

  1. Chop up all ingredients into bite sized pieces. Place ingredients on the skewers for desired look and taste combinations. Once everything has been skewered, use a brush to rub the rum sauce on all sides of the kabobs
  2. Carefully place kabobs on the grill. Rotate and flip kabobs as needed so that all sides are evenly cooked.
