Transformation Analyst
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid- 2 days in-office, 3 days remote

SUMMARY
As a Transformation Analyst at VALIO USA, Inc., you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, leveraging your expertise in data analytics, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, unify reporting, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, optimize sales systems, and deliver actionable insights that shape commercial strategy and resource allocation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sales Systems & BluePlanner Support
o Maintain and enhance BluePlanner to ensure accurate pricing, promotions, customer hierarchies, and trade budgets, applying best practices in process improvement and data integrity.
o Provide hands-on support to Sales Managers, guiding tool navigation and system functionality, and championing user adoption.
o Audit and optimize system entries, proactively identifying discrepancies and driving continuous improvement.
• Trade Spend Management & Promotional Analytics
o Develop and refine tools to monitor trade spend, leveraging advanced analytics to inform strategic decisions.
o Conduct post-promotional analysis using syndicated data (e.g., IRI), calculating ROI, identifying performance drivers, and recommending actionable improvements.
o Lead quarterly trade reviews, collaborating with Sales Managers to highlight insights, review ROI, and define corrective actions.
• Forecasting & Demand Planning Support
o Partner with Sales and Operations to validate and challenge forecast inputs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
o Enhance forecasting tools and processes, proposing and implementing improvements to strengthen volume estimates and visibility.
o Identify and communicate forecast risks, opportunities, and deviations from historical performance.
• Tools, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
o Maintain and optimize reporting tools and dashboards, supporting Sales, Business Systems, and Operations teams.
o Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and streamline reporting processes, driving operational efficiency.
o Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2–5+ years of experience in sales support, analytics, trade marketing, FP&A, or demand planning—CPG experience preferred.
• Experience with IRI, Nielsen, or syndicated POS data is strongly desired.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, and planning tools (BluePlanner is a plus).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to challenge assumptions diplomatically and influence cross-functional partners.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Project Management experience preferred.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics or a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a hybrid position that requires a combination of remote and in-office work. The role involves working in a professional, collaborative office environment 2–3 days per week, with the remaining days remote. The office is equipped with standard business technology and ergonomic workstations. While working remotely, the employee is expected to maintain a productive home workspace with reliable internet access. The role is primarily sedentary, involving prolonged periods of computer and phone use. Occasional interaction with team members and other departments is required, both virtually and in person. The pace of work may vary depending on deadlines, particularly during month-end or billing cycles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk, both in a home office and on-site.
• Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer, keyboard, calculator, phone, and other standard office equipment in both settings.
• Visual ability to read and interpret data on computer screens, spreadsheets, and printed documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively through phone, video conferencing, and email.
• Occasionally required to lift or move light office materials (e.g., files, mail, or supplies) weighing up to 20 pounds when on-site.
• Capacity to transition between remote and in-office work environments as scheduled.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined during the hiring process. This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.
