Digestive wellness is provided by fully pre-digested lactose enabling products with a lactose level of less than 0.1%. Valio Eila® PRO lactose free skimmed milk powder (SMP) is manufactured from fresh Finnish milk using proven Valio technology for an unchanged milk mineral composition and natural taste of milk. Application areas: dairy, chocolate and confectionery, bakery, ice cream, beverages, drink powders, ready meals, and nutritional supplements.

Product usage
As a high protein concentration, fat free powder with low carbohydrate content, Valio Eila® PRO SMP is an excellent ingredient for high-protein applications including variety of nutritional supplements and dietary products, such as powders, bars, and drinks. It provides milk nutrients, proteins, and minerals. In production, dosage can be 20-25 % lower than with standard skimmed milk powder to provide the same milk protein level.
