Infant formula
Infant formula means a breast-milk substitute specially manufactured to satisfy, by itself, the nutritional requirements of infants during the first months of life up to the introduction of appropriate complementary feeding.

As a sole source of nutrition for stage 1
A whey-predominant milk fat- and vegetable oil-based base powder which complies CODEX STAN 72-1981 for infant formulas. It is palm oil free, enriched with vitamins, minerals, galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) and lutein, and has a clean milky taste without off-flavours.
The powder is of premium dry blend quality and suitable for an IMF dry blending process, helping to differentiate products without compromising safety and quality. Combining of base powder and dry blending ingredients creates an optimal composition to which one can add beneficial ingredients like prebiotics, probiotics, fat components and other nutrients to meet customer-specific demands.

Follow-on formula
Follow-up formula means a food intended for use as a liquid part of the weaning diet for the infant from the 6th month on and for young children. Infant means a person of not more than 12 months of age.

Follow-up formula means a food intended for use as a liquid part of the weaning diet for infants and young children (growing-up formula). Young children means persons from the age of more than 12 months up to the age of three years (36 months).
