Anu has a strong academic background, combined with experience in the food industry. She earned her PhD in human nutrition from the University of Helsinki, worked as a researcher for about 10 years and was appointed as an Adjunct Professor in nutrition.

Dennis leads the specialty ingredients team at Valio that helps businesses innovate new applications for infant and special nutrition, confectionery, beverages, ice cream, and dairy. He has a long career in business development for the Food and Beverage industry.
Dr. Kevin Deegan
Chief Innovation Officer
As Valio’s CIO, Kevin drives the innovation culture and approach throughout Valio. He ensures that innovations are an important part of strategy and that the organisation has the tools and governance model to support implementation. He has a PhD in Food Science.
